It’s time Malaysian women claim equal representation in the government

Breaking news: MCA Wanita CC member to abandon ship

We hear from a source that a member of the MCA Wanita Central Committee will soon be resigning.

The lady was unhappy at not being nominated as candidate in the 12th General Elections.

We think its a pity, as the lady has not yet demonstrated her capability in the political arena, even though she excels in talking/debate in the short time she is in MCA.

In our opinion, women who harbour any intention to be political players must prepare psychologically beforehand so as not to cause any disappointment to herself or team members.

Politics is a marathon sports, ladies. Those who are not prepared to equip and train themselves up better will not have the necessary stamina to stay the whole course.

Anyway, all the best.

  1. I saw her on tv. She looked powerless when discussing about women issues (as she was representing MCA then). Good for her if she quits MCA. Maybe she even voted for the opposition on 8th March 2008.

  2. Our source told us she was more focused on promoting herself. Her branch (former) members were so angry at being dumped on short notice, after all that they have done to help cover up for her.

Maybe the saying is true, that in politics, women are worse than men.

  4. Our source told us Felicia Ling was in a hurry to become a YB and was disappointed she wasn’t picked to become a candidate. Hopefully she can be a better team player in new political party.
