Malaysian voters must punish and reject low quality Members of Parliament
We like below remark we found at anilnetto.com which commented on the silly speeches by Malaysian Member of Parliament.
In this Youtube instance, the antics of Mohamad Aziz (UMNO) is a perfect example of the sad standard of our MPs who consciously waste taxpayers’ money in Parliament.
May we advise all voters to seriously check and evaluate the quality of their MP candidates in the next General Election before crossing the ballot paper.

I pity the Hansard, it has to record the rubbish that the Sri Gading clown spews each Parliament session.
Sri Gading and Kinabatangan are the UMNO appointed time wasters and court jesters in Parliament. Just look at what they bring up in Parliament. No policy matters, just kampung politics. To make matters worse, the venerable Lim Kit Siang also lost the opportunity to rein in the 2 jesters so that 1st world Parliament session can be have. Maybe because Uncle Lim couldn’t resist the dig at other political parties, even though Parliament session is not for that.
I suggest Sri Gading should learn some mandarin so that he can read for himself what the Chinese community said what it really wants.
All Chinese newspapers reported that the community wants Ong Tee Keat to continue as MCA President. They have only 1 hero left and apparently Ong is still needed.
This Sri Gading fella wasted 5 minutes of the rakyat’s money venting on his personal feelings but non on researched facts. Since when Parliamentarians are allowed to represent their personal likes and dislikes in Parliament? I thought they are supposed to amend and recommend policies in Parliament upon consultation with their constituents!
First world Parliament will take a very long time coming.
Disgraceful Parliament first telecast
All thanks to MPs playing to the gallery.
Perhaps all were exhilarated to be in the Dewan Rakyat’s hallowed ground that made MPs like Karpal Singh, Bung Radin, Ngeh Koo Han lost balance of their right minds.
Thank you to them for showing to Malaysians their shallow decorum and lack of working knowledge:
Karpal for labeling BN as “Bigfoot”
In return Bung Raden called Karpal – “Monyet”
Then Ngeh demonstrated his terrible lack of knowledge in State vs Federal government roles.
We await with aghast for future telecasts.
The only redeeming feature today was Ong Ka Ting. Kudos to him for demonstrating knowledge of governmental role and most importantly, adherence to house decorum.

Its time to go, Rafidah…
Even though female representation in this new Cabinet is lesser than desired, we do not think 2 wrongs will make a right.
We support PM Badawi dropping Rafidah Abdul Aziz from his Cabinet. An arrogant politician who overstays her welcome is not good for the country. No one is indispensible or too good over anybody else. Our country is not for lack of talents.
Other boo boos from Rafidah :
1. Did not sign candidature form as Kuala Kangsar MP candidate this GE12 (That will make you a non-MP, no?)
2. Disrespecting and treating the people who questions you like lesser human beings (especially at Q&A)
3. Did nothing to advance the Wanita UMNO members, especially in areas of government. All these years as their leader, you did not do anything to encourage or mentor your Wanita members to take over your place or to do better than you.
4. You stifle and hold back your deputy, vice presidents, etc, to ensure their talents do not outshine yours.
Wanita UMNO members, don’t you have anyone better than Rafidah to take over as your Chief? Don’t you have anyone else with better behavior and less arrogance than Rafidah? Don’t you think this is the best time to replace Rafidah with somebody else to uplift the spirit and good name of Wanita UMNO?
Refreshing your memory- the brushed aside questions from Rafidah since 2005: The AP saga (aka cheating the people’s money)
June 28: Proton CEO Tengku Mahaleel Ariff’s interview with Oriental Daily appears. He complains the Government is not supporting Proton enough, saying it is being treated unfairly.
June 30: Proton board meets to discuss the interview, and gives Mahaleel two days to explain his comments.
July 4: Proton chairman Datuk Azlan Hashim meets adviser Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad.
July 5: Dr Mahathir defends Mahaleel for the stand he took. He also brings up “irregularities” in issuance of APs, and says he had asked International Trade and Industry Minister Datuk Seri Rafidah Aziz to investigate how Korean cars were under-declared.
July 7: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi says Rafidah was asked to explain the matters raised by Dr Mahathir. She is also to write to Dr Mahathir to explain.
July 19: Rafidah said she was prepared for attacks from anyone at the Umno general assembly on the AP issue. “When they raise it, very good. It will give me the opportunity to explain,” she said.
July 20: Rafidah breaks down in tears at a Press conference when asked to explain her relationship with Dr Mahathir. Describing it as a “father and daughter” bond, she maintained that she had not done any wrong to Dr Mahathir and vice-versa, thus the question of apologising did not arise.
July 21: The speculation in Utusan Malaysia on whether Rafidah would resign from the Cabinet over the AP issue leaves her fuming. “This is a very stupid story. I don’t want to comment about that. Why did you highlight it? You all would like to see me step down? If you don’t, then don’t ask this question. Those people are detractors, so don’t.”
After that, the importers who cheat in the declaration of value are identified. PGE fee of 30-38% is charged on makes imported by these AP cheaters.

Training required for this MP
Got this extracted from an article from Malaysiakini yesterday:
No need for non-Muslim affairs dept
Meanwhile, Abdullah yesterday said it was not necessary to set up a non-muslim affairs department because an effective special committee is already in place.
He said this after Indian non-governmental organisations requested the government to set up the department to handle the affairs of non-Muslims in the country. The premier explained that the existing committee in the PM’s Department comprised of Minister in the PM’s Department Bernard Dompok (handling Christian matters), Works Minister S Samy Vellu (Hindu) and Housing and Local Government Minister Ong Ka Ting (Buddhism).
Abdullah also said that the National Unity Department has a similar committee with a minister (Dr Maximus Ongkili) entrusted with matters pertaining to solidarity, religions and beliefs.
Dear MP for Kepala Batas,
Please ask your assistant to look up the Hansard. For the sake of justice, now is the turn of the Executive to execute the necessary administration, not to make excuses.
P/S:
The last time these named ministers came to you with a memo on religious issues, they received sharp rebukes from your government. How can they be effective when they have been publicly failed by you in the eyes of your voters?
