Female Voters Malaysia

It’s time Malaysian women claim equal representation in the government

Malaysia Parliament leaking…

Remember this man?

This was the YB who started a sheenigan in the Dewan Rakyat during a debate on water leaking in newly renovated Dewan Rakyat during which this man uttered at the woman YB who brought up the question: “Mana bocor? Batu Gajah pun bocor setiap bulan.” (Where is the leak? Batu Gajah (MP Fong Po Kuan) also leaks every month.) The word “bocor” here refers to a woman’s menstrual cycle.

Nazri, who is in charge of Parliament affairs, said the two MPs should not apologise to Fong or the DAP for their remarks. “I’m sure they didn’t have an agenda against Fong. But if they had offended women in general, that is another matter altogether. Then it’s up to them to apologise to women in general,” Nazri added.

Following an uproar by Malaysian women, Kinabatangan MP Datuk Bung Moktar Radin said he was sorry to all Malaysian women for his “unintended remarks,” but retracted the apology following a Cabinet directive to discuss the matter with then Women, Family and Community Development Minister Datuk Seri Shahrizat Abdul Jalil.

This YB Bocor is now newly appointed Deputy Chairman of Backbenchers Club. We ask why because BN cannot be so lack of talent and have to put this YB who is well known for his loud, irresponsible and disgraceful utterances in Parliament.

Breaking news: MCA Wanita CC member to abandon ship

We hear from a source that a member of the MCA Wanita Central Committee will soon be resigning.

The lady was unhappy at not being nominated as candidate in the 12th General Elections.

We think its a pity, as the lady has not yet demonstrated her capability in the political arena, even though she excels in talking/debate in the short time she is in MCA.

In our opinion, women who harbour any intention to be political players must prepare psychologically beforehand so as not to cause any disappointment to herself or team members.

Politics is a marathon sports, ladies. Those who are not prepared to equip and train themselves up better will not have the necessary stamina to stay the whole course.

Anyway, all the best.
